You asked:

"The number of people who have added physics to their registration as an additional subject by year from 2019 to present. Listed by year.  

The number of people on the register who hold Biology with Science, Chemistry with Science and Physics with Science, Maths or English as their registration category. I would like this information listed by category and by year from 2019 to present.

The number of provisionally registered secondary school teachers allocated Teacher Induction Scheme placements. I'd like this for those who hold Biology with Science, Chemistry with Science and Physics with Science, Maths or English as their registration category and for this to be listed by category and by year for the period 2019-2025.

The number of provisionally registered secondary teachers allocated Teacher Induction Scheme placements who don't progress to full registration. Again, I'd like this for those who hold Biology with Science, Chemistry with Science and Physics with Science, Maths or 2 English as their registration category and for this to be listed by category and by year for the period 2019-2025."

Registrants may hold registration in more than one category, therefore the figures above may to correlate to the number of individual registrants.  

This information is not held in a format which is readily extractable for previous years due to the movement of individuals to and from the Register over this period. However, we can provide the following data from contemporaneous reports.

Corresponding information for 2020-21 to 2024-25 can be found in FOI disclosure 24-25/16. Data for 2025-26 can be found in FOI disclosure 25-26/029.

Teacher Induction Scheme allocation data is not stored in a format that enables tracking of individuals who do not progress to full registration. Information is also not retained for those who defer to a later cohort or withdraw from the scheme.
