The new MyGTCS platform is being rolled out in two stages. All provisionally registered teachers and their supporters (e.g. headteachers) were given access from August 2025. All teachers will be given access from January 2026.
From August 2025 to January 2026, supporters will have access to both the current platform, to complete any functions relating to Professional Update, and the new platform, for induction profiles.

Full registrants
If you are a fully registered teacher, continue to access the current MyGTCS platform until January 2026.
If you are a supporter of a provisional registrant, you should continue using the current platform to complete any functions related to Professional Update.
Provisional registrants
If you hold provisional registration (including additional registration) and are currently working towards Full Registration, access the new MyGTCS platform.
You should also use the new MyGTCS platform if you are looking to access induction provisional registration profiles as a:
- Supporter
- Reviewer
- Probation manager.
