In this report, we analyse 870 conduct cases considered through GTC Scotland’s Fitness to Teach process.
We identify 12 allegation categories to help us analyse these types of cases. We also examine the source of these referrals and what happened to them at the 4 main stages of our Fitness to Teach process.
As well as helping inform the profession and the public about our Fitness to Teach work, we want the information in this report to minimise harm by preventing things from going wrong in the first place.
