We refer to your request for information (FOI 26-27/006) dated 14 May 2026 which we have handled under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA).
You asked:
“how many teachers have been removed from the register this. year because they didn’t complete their PU on time?”
Our response:
There were 539 registrants from the 2024/25 Professional Update cohort removed from the Register of Teachers for non-completion of their Professional Update on 3 November 2025.
