You do not have the academic study you need
Scenario
You are a fully registered teacher of Primary or Secondary (Subject) Education who wishes to gain registration in Additional Support Needs (ASN) and you do not have the relevant ASN academic study.
Your registration
If you currently hold Full Registration in Primary or Secondary (Subject) Education, you could add Provisional Registration in ASN once you complete relevant ASN academic study.
What you need
- Access to suitable study
- Time to complete the ASN academic study
- Coaching and mentoring as part of induction activity in ASN to enable you to demonstrate you meet the Standard for Full Registration.
- A school leader to observe your teaching
