The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) Right-touch regulation discussion paper: GTC Scotland's response

About

The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) published a discussion paper in March 2025, seeking comments from stakeholders as they prepare to publish a revised version of their Right-touch regulation framework.

We submitted feedback to this as, while we are not with the PSA's regulatory scope, Right-touch regulation is a framework we have implemented in our own regulation work.

In our response we highlighted the importance of risk management within regulation, the need for collaboration and ensuring that the framework is for for purpose now and in the future.
