You have a right to ask what information we hold about you. This is called a subject access request.
We have 1 month from the date we receive your request to provide you with a response although this may be extended by a further two months in certain cases. Providing detail about the information you wish us to provide will help us process your request more efficiently. For example, you may only be looking for information between specific dates or in relation to a specific matter such as a Fitness to Teach case.
Once we receive your request we will contact you to verify your identity, by providing two official documents showing your name, date of birth and current address, for example, a driving licence, birth certificate, passport or recent utility bill.
