Japanese Youth Conference in Aberdeen

Let's Learn Japanese and about Japan!

The Japanese Language Group is holding a Japanese Youth Conference in Aberdeen this autumn, hosted by Robert Gordon's College.

The Japanese Language Group supports the 1 + 2 Languages Plan and the need to give all our young people appropriate language skills, together with a wider understanding of global societies and cultures. We need to learn about Japan and to celebrate the pioneering work already beginning in Scotland.

Come to Robert Gordon's College to hear children and young people, as well as students who have left school and realise the importance of knowledge of Japanese for their future careers. Hear from Kirkwall Grammar School about its brilliant Orkney Model; try drumming with Tsuchigumo Daiko, and much more!
