Learning in Local Greenspace

Scottish Natural Heritage's 'Beyond your boundary' resource for outdoor learning aims to help schools use a greenspace within walking distance. It was created as part of the Learning in Local Greenspace project, which is part of the Scottish Biodiversity Routemap to 2020.

The resource helps teachers to find, access and use their local greenspace for learning:

Local Greenspace Project

The local greenspace project aims to help 100 schools across Scotland to get their pupils learning outdoors on a regular and frequent basis.

This is achieved by improving the access to and quality of a local greenspace and building confidence in teachers to take learning outdoors.
