Wellbeing Wednesday Webinar, presented by Claire Lavelle

Teachers have worked tirelessly to provide safe, nurturing and adaptive learning environments for all learners' return this August. In these first two months of the academic session, this webinar looks at the impact of the transition to the classroom from lockdown on the wellbeing and resilience of educators. Claire Lavelle offered coaching support and strategies on cultivating key self-renewal practices to sustain energy, optimism and self-efficacy during challenging times.

About Claire

Claire Lavelle has more than 20 years’ experience in education. She was a primary headteacher in East Lothian where she was also seconded as a Quality Improvement Officer, before she moved to the UAE to be a Head Teacher and Assistant Principal in a 3–18 school for Emirati pupils. Claire is now based in Edinburgh and is working in a number of local authorities, schools and early years settings throughout the East of Scotland, focusing on the wellbeing of staff.
