Research and Practitioner Enquiry are at the heart of Professional Review and Development.

To aid with teachers’ professional development, GTCS provides access to a range of educational resources. This includes free online access to over 1,700 education journals through the Education Source – EBSCO. In this section we highlight current academic and practitioner research, and feature recommended reaching from the Research Engagement Group.

Professional Recognition

GTCS Professional Recognition recognised the enhanced, significant and sustained enquiry a teacher has undertaken and the development of their professional learning in a particular area. The award of Professional Recognition recognises the expertise and accomplishment of the teacher.
