National Lecture
Our annual National Lecture is now in its 11th year. We have been lucky enough to secure some top names for our lectures, including Christopher Brookmyre, Elish Angiolini and Annie Lennox to name but a few.
This event takes place annually and a wide range of topics have been discussed by our speakers
We hope to continue to hold this popular event and entice even more international celebrities into giving the National Lecture.
National Lecture 2011
The 11th Annual National Lecture was delivered by Richard Holloway. The event proved very popular, filling Committee Room 1 in the Scottish Parliament.
Richard is a Scottish writer and broadcaster and was formerly Bishop of Edinburgh in the Scottish Episcopal Church. He is now regarded as one of the most outspoken and controversial figures in the church. He is well known for his support of progressive causes and has written extensively on such topics.
The event was run in partnership with the Festival of Politics.
