PVG Scheme Membership

There is a requirement for anyone applying for registration to join and be members of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. This means that checks are carried out for all unspent and spent convictions and cautions held against an applicant. The checks also include any non-conviction data held by police and may be relevant to the type of employment being sought, in our case, teaching.

We will soon be sending you a pack containing a PVG application form either for initial membership or an existing scheme update if you have told us you are already in the scheme, along with a letter advising you what the next steps are. Find out more about the PVG Scheme.

Please hold on to your signed declaration until you have received the pack, you will be required to return it along with 3 photocopies of ID with your PVG application.
