Teaching Scotland and SEJ Scottish Education Parliament Hustings

Teaching Scotland and Scottish Educational Journal (SEJ) held a political hustings in the run up to the Holyrood elections on 21 April 2016. Education spokespeople representing each of Scotland's major parties were there to discuss their policies and key issues facing Scottish education. The event was hosted by GTC Scotland Chief Executive Ken Muir and Educational Institute for Scotland (EIS) General Secretary Larry Flanagan.

Representatives were in attendance from: Scottish Conservative Party (Liz Smith); Scottish Green Party (Peter McColl); Scottish Labour Party (Iain Gray); Scottish Liberal Democrat Party (Emma Farthing-Sykes); and the Scottish National Party (Angela Constance).
