I will be sharing my primary class with another probationer, and as yet there is no willingness by the school to assign either of us to another class for the other 0.2 of our teaching timetable. I do not feel that 0.5 in class is sufficient to meet the needs of the GTCS requirements. The class is working at a wide spread of stages and levels. Would it be sufficient to split the class for key curricular areas (maths and language)in order to gain more teaching time?
