As the GTC Scotland does not hold a remit in employment issues, including salaries, any queries relating to such should be directed to The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA).

probation pay

hi there i am a probationer teacher who has a job for next year within south lanarkshire council. I understand that there is a way to be placed up the pay scale in my first year as a teacher (next year), if i have relevant experience from my years working before teaching. I was wondering how i would go about this and who i would contact about this.
