Can’t say how good they are, but there are some decent reviews online for spelling software by a company called Sherston:
1) Spell It! Spelling with the Spellits
2) Spelling Show
3) Spellmate
The BBC schools website http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/websites/4_11/site/literacy.shtml has a range of literacy games, though not all specifically about spelling.
Or try the link http://www.literacytrust.org.uk/Database/resources2.html#spelling to the National Literacy Trust website, which lists books and other resources (OK, often aimed at the English National Curriculum but probably usable in Scotland), many of which have been recommended by primary teachers. Mind you, when I tried the web links, some of them did not work. However, the link to http://www.northwood.org.uk/literacy.htm did work. This is a primary school site with some sorting and word search games aimed at P3.
Hope this is helpful
