How far might you have to travel? I'm at Stirling Uni doing MFL secondary. Originally from England though so a bit of a jump up for a permanent move! Looking forward to it though, just want to start flat/house hunting and get on with it! I'm in Spain July and August up to 13th so I need to get everything sorted before my graduation. Mental times ahead!

 Hey all,

 I've received confirmation by email that I will be allocated to Perth and Kinross Council! I have an understanding that there are nine secondary schools there, so I'll need to wait for confirmation of the actual school before I can find a place to stay! Does anyone have any information on the council at all, or has anyone been placed there this year?

Hi, anyone else been allocated Moray?  I am primary, would be good to chat to other people in Moray as I'm a deffered place as  took a year out for maternity leave so a bit worried i may be a bit out of touch!

I also ticked the box, and got Perth and Kinross (it isn't up on my profile yet, still stays I have opted to be allocated anywhere) but I'm primary. I've seen that the council has put up their induction dates, but apart from that I've no info bout the council at all! (sorry, not much help!)

I did PGDE Primary at Edinburgh Uni and myself and three other girls from my group got Highland too (Adele, Lauren and Sarah)...so a wee crowd so far :). I am very excited and just want to know where and which school!!! Which Uni did you go to?x

 

 Hey. My name is Laura. I'm from Strathclyde Uni (Chemistry) but originally from Livingston. I ticked the box and I'm heading to the highlands too. A big move. Im dying to know the school so I know exactly where I'm moving too! Don't want to wait until August 14th. 

Laura - the strathclyde folk heading for the highlands are gonna meet up with the UHI folk on the Monday of the conference if you fancy it. There are two of us in Biology at Strath headed for Highland. I'm going to be returning from my honeymoon on 10th Aug just in time for Induction Day so need to get all the moving sorted before end of July - hope we find out soon!!!!

I've been allocated to Perth and Kinross Council as well. I'm Art and Design, what's your subject? I live in Angus so hoping for a Perth/Blairgowrie school to ease the commute a bit! Need to just wait and see. I phoned the Council on Friday and was told we should know our schools by post at some point this week so hopefully we shouldn't have to wait that much longer.

Hi Gillian I have been allocated Moray and I'll be teaching Secondary Technical. I'm from Motherwell, so I hope I can find out my school asap to get moving on up there!

Did the other Team Highland folk get a letter today asking for your info? I had heard this would be used to help with allocation (like the having a car bit). It confirms Induction is only on the 12th. I assume from the wording of the form they intend to allocate us by the end of June so we can all start the house-hunting! Laura - I think the current plan is to meet outside the David Stow building on the Monday of the course conference (the 6th?) after that days lectures if you want to join us.
