Well hope by now you've settled into everything. I'll say this though, I found the year after to be easier than the probationary year :)

As I'm about to start my probationary year this was not that reassuring! However, it was refreshingly honest and good to know that those things that I'm worried about are shared by others, i.e. forgetting to take register or getting the time wrong!!

Ah Mr. Elder, glad you stopped by my videos-of-shame (that's personal shame mind you) site. Hope you're having as much fun as I am and the job prospects are looking good. I did see a fall-back job available as a Grave Digger in Edinburgh - you needed to be "customer focussed" and "knowledgable in the ceremonies of the dead" (fantastic language)

Something that Jordanhill didnt prepare us for ? Had a similar experience at my last school when the network went down. I had to think on my feet and fly by the seat of my pants. It worked. Hard work but rewarding. Good to "see" you again and hope all going well. All well here in sunny Girvan Academy.
