Draft Code of Professionalism and Conduct

A consultation on a Code of Professionalism and Conduct for the teaching profession was launched by the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in November 2007.

The consultation aimed to ensure that both the educational profession and the public were aware of the Code and the key principles and values expected of registered teachers in Scotland.
