Mentoring Teachers in Scotland Literature Review
About the programme
This Programme is based on the 2022 book ‘Mentoring Teachers in Scotland’ Edited by Sandra Eady, Jane Essex, Kay Livingstone and Margaret McColl. It provides the opportunity for those in a mentoring role or aspiring to become a mentor, to build on their knowledge, understanding and skills of Mentoring Teachers in Scotland.
Participants gain an understanding of the principal theories, principles and concepts in Mentoring through reading the associated literature, identifying and accessing further reading, as well as engaging in professional dialogue with peers. Participants reflect and record progress in a Learning Journal, and also engage in Collaborative Enquiry.
This programme is externally moderated by Aberdeen University.
