Who We Work With
We work with other regulatory bodies of the teaching profession who are responsible for the profession in their respective countries. We meet with these bodies twice a year to discuss topical issues.
A recent topic for discussion was the abolition of GTC England. As a result, GTC England have drawn together its policy advice, research and evidence. These work packages represent an account of the GTC England's policy and research work over the last decade.
Memorandum of Understanding
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is an agreed framework for co-operation and collaboration between organisations. It does not affect statutory functions or amend policies or agreements already in place.
In February 2011 we signed an MoU with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) in order to help us to fulfil our statutory duties as effectively and efficiently as possible.
In August 2012 we signed an MoU with the Scottish Government in order to collaborate, promote and improve learning and teaching in Scotland with the aim of increasing opportunities and improving outcomes for learners.
