Senior Management Team
In September 2007 our Council endorsed the recommendation by auditors to establish a Register of Interests for all Council members and senior members of staff.
As we have a statutory responsibility to act in the public interest, and to be open and transparent in carrying out our work, we have included this information for our Senior Management Team.

Chief Executive/ Registrar
|Tony is responsible for the leadership of the Council, for the management of its strategic direction, for the operational efficiency and performance of its functions and for the delivery of responsibilities and duties placed on it by statute or by Council decision. He is expected to promote professionalism in teaching and high standards in Council staff.
These duties are partly distributed across other managers who are accountable to the Chief Executive.
The Chief Executive is also the official correspondent of the Council in its dealings with:
Director of Education and Professional Learning
|Tom is responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of the Council's educational policy and leads the Council's Education team.|
Director of Governance
|Irene is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of the Council’s policies in respect of governance issues, including Council, committee and panel member administration, fitness to teach, and legal and regulatory compliance, and for the overall delivery, development and performance of services in these areas.
