Conduct, Competence and Disciplinary Rules 2006
The Conduct, Competence and Disciplinary Rules 2006 (pdf) set out the rules and procedures governing the proceedings of the Council’s:
in relation to cases involving:
- conviction
- misconduct
- competence
- fraud (ie alleged false or fraudulent declaration or representation in the course of an application for registration)
- restoration to the register following removal on conduct or competence grounds
- interim suspension
- review of a decision of:
- referral by GTC Scotland to Scottish Ministers for consideration for possible inclusion on the Disqualified from Working with Children List kept by Ministers under the Protection of Children (Scotland) Act 2003 (not applicable in competence cases)
