Sources of Complaint

The Council is required to investigate complaints originating from:

• An employer or former employer
• Members of the public - Members of the public cannot bring complaints in regard to lack of teacher competence
• The Scottish Criminal Record Office
• Disclosure Scotland and/or any comparable organisation established by statute
