Professional Recognition

Professional recognition allows registered teachers to focus their CPD in particular areas of interest, gaining recognition for enhancing their knowledge and experience.

Within the Framework for Professional Recognition / Registration, GTC Scotland has developed a flexible framework to allow the profession to grow while maintaining professional standards.

Eligibility

In order to gain professional recognition you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• hold full registration with GTC Scotland
• have completed a further 2 years teaching service after gaining full registration.
