Preparation for Application

Please tick the statements below to confirm that you have carried out the work required of you to qualify for application.

1. During the Professional Review and Development process I have successfully engaged in and can evidence through self-evaluation and other means my attaining satisfactory professional competence against the Standard for Full Registration*

2. During the Professional Review and Development process I have actively considered knowledge and evidence relating to my appropriate level of preparation to commence working towards attaining the Standard for Chartered Teacher.

3. Within the Professional Review and Development Process I have developed and maintained a Continuing Professional Development Portfolio which shows clear reflection on and evidence of my role in providing successfully teaching and learning, indicating an appropriate level of preparedness for moving beyond the Standard for Full Registration towards the Standard for Chartered Teacher (tick to confirm)

4. I confirm that during the Professional Review and Development process I have discussed my intention to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility for the Chartered Teacher Programme and the contents of my portfolio with my line manager (tick to confirm)

5. My line manager has confirmed that he/she is willing to provide me with support during my Chartered Teacher Programme (tick to confirm)

On submission, your application will be forwarded to your headteacher/line manager for approval. Once approved, your application will be forwarded to GTC Scotland.
