How to Apply

All teachers who wish to achieve the award of Chartered Teacher must first apply to GTC Scotland.  This is regardless of which route they choose to take.

There are two ways in which you can apply:-

1. Complete our Application for entry to the Chartered Teacher programme (online)
2. Complete and return the Chartered Teacher Application Form (MS Word) to:

What happens next?

You will be issued with your certificate of eligibility which confirms that you are eligible to embark on the programme.  This should be retained as providers may ask for it as proof of your eligibility.

We will also send you our booklet and an application form for The Accreditation Route should you decide to follow that path.

You are now ready to enrol for Module 1 Self Evaluation with one of the Accredited Chartered Teacher Providers.
