Revision to the Teachers' Registration (Scotland) Rules

Monday 15 December 2008 will see amendments come into force relating to the Teachers Registration (Scotland) Rules.

This follows a consultation exercise with a range of education stakeholders across Scotland in relation to the inspection of and access to information held in the register.

The revisions:

• enable the Council to meet certain statutory requirements
• clarify certain aspects of the information held in the register
