Revisions to the Teachers' Registration Rules

Consultation on Inspection of and Access to Information contained in the Register

The General Teaching Council for Scotland is proposing a number of amendments to Schedules 1 and 2 to the Registration Rules:

• to enable the Council to meet certain statutory requirements
• for clarification.

We are now seeking the views of the Scottish Government, employers, professional associations and other educational stakeholders on revised Schedules 1 and 2 to the Teachers Registration (Scotland) Rules.

The consultation exercise runs until Friday 8 August 2008.
