Literature Review on Teacher Education Entry Requirements
GTC Scotland has published a new Literature Review on Teacher Education Entry Requirements as part of the current consultation on the Memorandum on Entry Requirements for Initial Teacher Education Programmes in Scotland (the Memorandum).
GTC Scotland commissioned this literature review to inform an updated version of the Memorandum. The specific aim of this review is to identify the current discourse on minimum entry requirements to initial teacher education in a number of jurisdictions. Nations included in this review are: England, Scotland, Australia, United States, New Zealand, Ireland and Finland.
