How to meet the SFR
To become a fully registered teacher in Scotland, you are required to meet The Standard for Full Registration (SFR).
The SFR sets out the qualities and capabilities expected of you during your induction year and provides a professional standard against which decisions can be made on whether to grant you full registration.
Your induction experience should result in professional development in all three key elements of the SFR:
- Professional Knowledge and Understanding
- Professional Skills and Abilities
- Professional Values and Personal Commitment
