Why Teach in Scotland?

Scotland is a small country with a lot to offer from beautiful cities to acres of unspoilt countryside.

Scotland also has it own unique culture, with its own legal and educational systems.

Education is a big part of Scottish culture. By 1707 Scotland had 4 universities; today there are 21 universities and colleges offering education at degree level.

So, it's no surprise that the quality of Scottish teaching is renowned all over the world!

Further information can be found by visiting the Teach in Scotland website.

To teach in Scotland you must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. This helps ensure the quality of our teachers and the safety of our children.
